How to use:

Since these nutrients are fat-soluble, we recommend taking this supplement with food. Combining vitamin D3 and K2 with a meal that includes a fat source (like extra virgin olive oil, avocado or nut butter) will improve nutrient absorption in the body.

Where are the products made?

In order to maintain a superior level of quality, all of our products are manufactured in Toronto, Canada. We work diligently with our trusted chemists to develop our own advanced formulas, which allows us to control quality and pricing that ultimately benefit our customers. Local, sustainable, and fair trade are essential principles to the LOOK Organics team.

I'm new to oil-based skincare. Is there a transition period?

We first want to remind you that transitioning from one skincare product or routine to another requires some patience and a realistic expectation of how your skin may react (patch testing is very beneficial, especially if you have sensitive skin).

If you’re already using oil-based products, you should have a pretty smooth transition. Our skin loves natural oils. We have oil glands for a reason, we actually need oil! Topically, oil works to hydrate, smooth, and create a healthy balance for our skin with protective properties. Not only do organic plant-derived oils work with our skin's natural processes, but they also nourish our skin with antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. 

If you’re new to oil-based products, and you’ve been using oil-free products, we recommend transitioning slowly. In this case, less is usually more.

A whole new skincare regime overnight can shock your skin and disrupt its balance temporarily. Start by implementing your new oil-based products a few nights a week or every few days to allow your skin to transition with more ease. We recommend using a very small amount at first (half of what you would normally want to use) and applying it to a damp face. Applying your oil products to a damp face will help the product soak in and do its thing to seal in the moisture. As your skin adjusts, you can increase the amount of product you're using. During this time, it’s also important to exfoliate 1-2 times per week to aid cellular turnover.

We recommend giving yourself at least 3-4 weeks to allow your skin to relearn how to hydrate and balance itself. Your adjustment period timeline will depend on what you were using before, and how you incorporate your new products into your new routine. It’s also important to know that your skin is affected by both internal and external factors. While having a solid skincare routine is a great way to treat external factors, you might think about potential internal factors that could be affecting the state of your skin (things like hormones, stress levels, gut dysbiosis, and diet).

What is the shelf life of your products?

Due to the organic nature of our products and the absence of synthetic preservatives, we recommend all of our products to be used within 12 months of opening. We also highly recommend that they are stored out of direct sunshine and in a cool, dark place (with the lid on tight) to prevent them from oxidizing to maintain their effectiveness.

How do you preserve your products without the use of synthetic preservatives?

Our products are made in small batch and are only available to purchase online - which is why we don't believe in adding in harsh preservatives. We choose to use high-quality ingredients with specific combinations to extend the shelf lives of our products, and when needed we add natural preservatives such as Vitamin E.

Do you do animal testing?

Absolutely not! We believe in a cruelty-free world where no animal has to suffer to conduct archaic product testing.

What is your return policy?

At LOOK Organics, we aim to set ourselves apart by raising awareness with our standards.

We intend to encourage conscious consumerism. We want to raise awareness of the environmental consequences of sending back returns. Almost all returned items, for all industries, are discarded into landfills. Each returned package also leaves a trail of emissions, contributing to worsening our air quality.

We are doing our part to respect our farmers and our planet, and for these reasons, we do not offer returns on our opened products.
