Josie Jesser, Creative Director and Founder
Josie is originally from New York and has studied garment making in Boston and at the Austin School of Fashion Design. She also has a Masters’ Degree in Latin American Studies from The University of Texas. She launched her line of children’s clothing in 2004 at an Austin Christmas show with a set of boy’s pajamas in red striped linen. They sold out and since then she continues to create unique, well-tailored children’s garments out of the best natural fabrics available. As she continued to research the fabrics available and to grow her business, Josie felt the only responsible choice was to use 100% certified organic cotton.
Emily Leucht, Designer and Pattern Drafter
Emily Leucht is a graduate of California College of the Arts. She is originally from Hawaii and has traveled extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia. Emily has worked for Sandra Ingrish and Co. doing design and as a production liaison. She currently works for Look Organics in Oakland and Kweejibo Clothing in San Francisco.
Sharon Fukutome, Graphic Designer
Sharon is an Oakland-based designer whose work includes furniture and murals.
